1. I’ve always wanted to paint a picture using edible products, so I prepared some tea (left glass), coffee (right glass), and used a forgotten 2-day-old yerba essence (middle one). 2. First attempts to see what I had. 3. I decided to add some baking soda to the yerba, which had a dark green color (the closest glass). Out of curiosity, I added some vinegar to another glass of yerba… which actually did nothing special :D It separated some green elements and smelled like… vinegar :D 4. Then I remembered an old package of charcoal powder (for teeth whitening) — it gave me a nice, intense black color and a cute minty scent (writing about it amuses me a lot :D) 5. I looked around and found some partially burned white sage, and used the ash to get a nice brown color. 6. I needed another color, so I took a few pinches of turmeric for yellow and… 7. …it turns out that turmeric becomes red when you add baking soda!! That was awesome! 8. More experimenting. 9. I didn’t really know where I was going with this, but I think it’s finished.
